A Few Words from Donnie:
On Sunday October 21st, at Extend, I shared details about the road ahead for Lifepointe.  On February 24th, 2008, we will become one church that meets in two locations by launching Lifepointe in Wakefield.  If you missed it, be sure to get the CD at the Info Booth or get the mp3 from the <listen> section of our website.

I shared background information and what led us to become a multi-site church.  I addressed some obvious questions and promised to follow up with more details.

God has brought our church on an amazing journey and he has provided clear opportunities for us to have an even greater impact on the community.   Launching the new site in Wakefield is just one of those opportunities. Thank you for your overwhelming support of what God is doing at Lifepointe. You are being used to accomplish great things for his Kingdom.

Here are a few bits of feedback from that Sunday:

•    “It makes sense to grow this way.”
•    “I’m excited to have Lifepointe in my community so I can invite my neighbors.”
•    “This encourages me to get off my seat and fill in the gaps at Six Forks!”
•    “I’m ready to stop being a spectator and become a participator.”
•    “I’m excited to know that we are using God’s resources in such an effective way.”
•    “Where do I sign up?”

Two significant financial partners have joined us in our multi-site adventure. Bridges Christian Church in Russell,KY, and Stadia: New Church Strategies, Irvine, CA, are excited to partner with us in our move to being a multi-site church.

This is an exciting time for our church. There are many more great details to share. You can email me anytime at dwilliams@lifepointechurch.com with questions or comments. We are building a Lifepointe-Wakefield FAQ section of the website that should be up soon.

Beyond Lifepointe-Wakefield, God has opened up opportunities for our church in regard to local and global missions, partnerships for a better Raleigh, and more. Go to the "glocal" tab on our website out find out more.

Lifepointe is a special place, and I’m glad you’re part of it.

Touch one Life,

Donnie
