Leadership Residents at Lifepointe join our team specifically to learn about church planting & leadership. Whether you are interested in leading a church plant, launching a campus of Lifepointe in the RDU area, or serving on a team, a residency will prepare you for what’s next. Residents are provided an inside look at our leadership structure, staff meetings, and given an opportunity to explore what God might be calling you to do. Lead Planter residents are coached by our Lead Pastor.
Over the past several years former residents have planted new churches, launched a Lifepointe campus, and joined our staff full time.
When you’re ready to start the process please complete our initial online residency application. Get ready for the adventure of your life!
Quotes from former residents:
“After 3 years in youth ministry, attending seminary and having been in church since I was in diapers, I thought I was fully prepared to plant a new church. I can honestly say that without my time as a resident any church I would have tried to start would have failed. The residency prepared me like nothing else could have. I was able to receive first hand experience and knowledge about church planting and without it we would have never got off the ground.” A.J. Viola, former resident.
“Being a leadership resident gave me the opportunity to explore the areas of ministry I have a heart for and the time to prayerfully determine where God was leading me. I was able to observe and learn from servant leaders while at the same time serve and grow. God used my time as a leadership resident to grow my faith in Him and His plans for my life.” Sarah Jane Bertz, former resident.
“Residency has given me enough time to reconnect with God and further confirm my call.” Sean Bynum, former resident.
