Our "connect" events are designed with your friends in mind. We believe that we have something special in the Ignited Youth Ministry and want to share that with teens in our area. This might the opportunity to start to connect your friends with God in a very easy and non-threatening way. We promise the events will be fun, focused on developing new relationships and non-judgmental.
Our current connect event is a friday night dinner and a movie. We will all meet at the Hub, travel to Wakefield Marquee Cinema for a showing of the premier of the new movie "To Save A Life" and then return for an awesome meal together. Some of us will continue the party later into the night with a little midnight bowling. We will continue discussing the themes of the movie at FIRE in the weeks following the event. This movie is PG13 because it stays true to real high school life and doesn't shy away from real issues. Times and details are pending movie showtime announcements so keep an eye on your program and this website for updates. Cost for tickets is $12 for one or two tickets and $3 for each student after that. Bowling will be $7 per person. The registration form will calculate your exact cost and allow you to pay online. 9:00PM - Back to the Hub for after party
10:30PM - Go Bowling or Go Home
11:00PM - Midnight Bowling
1:00AM - Go Home (If you stay for bowling you need to get picked up at the bowling alley)
