I was born in West Virginia, but am a true gypsy child of the Southern Atlantic states. My heart, however, is happiest in North Carolina and considers this home. My husband, Matt, and I met as children in Southwestern Virginia in the third grade. Thankfully, God brought us back together as adults. A former tomboy, God certainly knew what he was doing by making me a boy-mom to sporty Austin and creative Sawyer. Besides the men in my house, my passions are our many pets, weightlifting and obsessing about nutrition.
My family began attending Lifepointe back in the Durant Road Middle School days. I have loved being a part of the life changes that Lifepointe has inspired around our community and in our own house. Watching my husband and children get baptized has been one of the greatest joys of my life. I came on staff in May of 2017 and am grateful to be working with a dynamic group of people committed to God and Lifepointe’s mission of helping people connect with God.
