I was raised in south Virginia, but I’ve always been a North Carolinian at heart. We had family in Raleigh and I was always looking for a reason to come down to the Oak City. It was inevitable that I would live here! I attended Liberty University and Word of Life Bible Institute (Florida) before that. During my time at Liberty, I was a guitarist on one of their touring worship teams through which I saw a lot of the country. I met my wife there and graduated in 2011. Sarah and I have been married since October 2012. We have 3 kids — Charis (2016), Logan (2018), and Emory (2021). I’ve been involved in ministry for a big part of my life, but officially since 2012. My passion for music began at an early age. I love guitars, all the gear that comes with it, and discovering new music. I’m a big Pittsburgh Steelers fan (you can come sports-talk me, anytime!). As a family, we love traveling, being outdoors, and hitting the greenway/hiking trails together.
We’re glad God called us to join Lifepointe in the summer of 2019. I love seeing healthy, growing community and people worshipping from so many different stages of life. My heartbeat has always been to see worship become more than a song in peoples’ lives.
We are committed to helping people connect with God. Learn more about the staff at Lifepointe Church by heading over to our staff page.
