Serve The Church
Serving is a great way to meet others and grow as you discover that everyone has a mission. We have many teams where you can use your gifts and skills to make a difference. Our teams welcome people to Lifepointe, create inspiriting worship experiences, and lead groups of all ages.
Make a Great First Impression
If you’re the type of person who has a smile for everyone and is willing to walk across the room to introduce yourself to people you don’t know yet, we’d love for you to be part of one of these teams! These teams offer the kind of hospitality that helps all guests feel welcome and cared for, (but not overwhelmed).

Create The Environment
Whether you’re an up-front type of person or prefer working behind-the-scenes, there are opportunities to serve. These teams make sure everything is in place, sounds great, looks great and runs smoothly. There are also ways to help be sure people are cared for while we gather and throughout the week.

If you love working directly with people, leading a small group might be the best way for you to serve. All ages of people gather in smaller groups to learn about God and the Bible. For our youngest, this happens onsite during their service time. Students gather onsite weekly. Adult groups meet throughout the week in various locations.

Raleigh Dream Center is a Christian-based, volunteer driven organization providing social services and community programs to homeless, abused and impoverished high risk youth, individuals and families. We partner with local churches to consistently provide resources to under-privileged communities and reach out to those individuals in substance abuse, physical abuse, experiencing homelessness, participating in gangs, or other circumstances.
They are partnering with the Wake County Public School System to provide over 2,500 meals a day including free hot lunches and a shelf stable breakfast five days a week. All food will be prepared in school kitchens and brought to our Adopt-A-Block site locations. The kids can pick up their food and then promptly take their food home.

In response to COVID-19, Lifepointe Church in partnership with two other area churches founded Operation Feeding Hope. There are 51,000 students in Wake County on the free and reduced lunch program. While school is out, many do not get three meals a day. We can do our part and help them. According to the county, two of the areas of need are North Raleigh and Wake Forest. We are collecting and distributing specific groceries during the summer.
Don’t miss this opportunity! You can help by filling a grocery bag (or 2 or 3 or 4…) with enough food to feed a family of 5 for one meal.

Brentwood Magnet Elementary School of Engineering, in collaboration with the Brentwood community, engages and empowers every student engineer to reach their maximum potential.
Our Lifepointe Cary location family is truly excited to partner with an amazing ministry in our Cary community, Dorcas Ministries. Currently our main focus during this time is on food insecurity and serving the families that have been hit hard by this pandemic.
Dorcas Ministries has been serving our area for over 50 years and is a trusted name in the community. Their mission is to provide compassionate assistance to area residents to empower people to become stable and self-sufficient.
It is our desire to provide an avenue for our church family, as well as the local community, to see us as a funnel of resources through this awesome organization directly to those who are in need. We know that the wonderful staff and administrators of Dorcas Ministries will be able to use these resources to meet the physical needs of our community and in turn open the door to share about Jesus who can meet all of our spiritual needs!

Throughout the school year, we partner with our nearby local school to meet needs and encourage the staff.
Throughout the year, we partner with our local YMCA to meet needs of people in our area. Projects have included Learning Centers during COVID pandemic and Christmas gifts for families in need through Taylor’s “Santa’s Workshop” initiative.
Habitat for Humanity of Wake County builds safe, affordable houses for qualified homebuyers regardless of race, religion or background. Each Habitat home is built in partnership with homeowner families, sponsors, and volunteers. Our houses are safe, decent, affordable homes which are sold for no profit to the partner family who repays an affordable mortgage. Homeowners attend a series of workshops on financial literacy and home maintenance so they are well prepared to be homeowners.

Changing a plot of dirt into a house is dramatic, but the real change is what happens when a family transitions out of poverty housing. At Habitat for Humanity, our vision is a world where everyone has a decent place to live. Affordable homeownership makes new opportunities available to these families and their children, including savings, a sense of security, space to grow, and good neighbors.

Holistic child development means they begin, in some cases, with prenatal care and go all the way through leadership development for qualified young adults. It means they take a long-term approach to what they do and go beyond simple involvement in the lives of the children and families they serve.
